2024 RAM 1500 Interior
The 2024 Ram 1500’s interior redefines what a full-size truck’s cabin should be. Basic trims such as the Tradesman and Big Horn offer a surprising level of luxury, while higher trims top it all with leather, sound insulation, special color schemes, and unique styling elements such as the suede-wrapped headliner that we commonly see in luxury sedans and sports cars.
Passengers are treated to a spacious cabin with plenty of headroom, legroom, and shoulder space both for the single and double cab models. It can seat up to six people depending on the seat configuration. The doors swing wide making it easy for passengers to get in and out.
Cabin Storage is optimal with features such as a large glovebox, an overhead storage console, a dashboard shelf, front and rear door pockets, and cupholders.
Infotainment features in the 2024 RAM 1500 include either an 8.4-inch or a 12-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster display, satellite radio, a 10-speaker premium stereo or a 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo, two rear USB ports, navigation, HD Radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot and wireless device charging.

The base 3.6L engine produces 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This engine is ideal for daily driving, commuting, and light-duty work. The 5.7 L engine produces 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque which makes it ideal for heavier duties. On the other hand, the 6.2L engine produces 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque which is a beast that is suitable for heavy work, heavy trailering, and extreme off-roading.
In terms of handling, the 2024 RAM 1500 is easy to maneuver and offers a comfortable ride thanks to the coil-sprung or air-sprung suspension. There is minimal body roll during cornering. The steering is responsive and feels neither too soft nor too hard, just the right balance.

The 2024 RAM 1500 is a formidable truck off-road. The TRX trim is equipped for off-roading thanks to its long travel suspension, hardened chassis, and beefier suspension components. It’s made of a 98% high-strength steel frame for enhanced stability, durability, and rigidity. The TRX trim features a twin-screw supercharger that supplies near instantaneous torque and a Bilstein Black Hawk e2 Shock System which is designed to evenly distribute power to the ground and equally suppress opposing forces from uneven terrain.
The Rebel trim is similarly capable off-road and it comes standard in four-wheel drive. It features an off-road suspension, a locking rear differential, a high torque/axle ratio, multiple tow hooks, and skid plates.
2024 RAM 1500 Reliability
The RAM has undergone continuous improvements over the years and it’s now a fairly reliable truck. The 2024 RAM 1500’s engines are all tried and tested. The body is constructed using high-strength steel which makes it a durable and sturdy truck.

2024 RAM 1500 Maintenance Schedule
The first maintenance is at 8,000 miles which requires a change of Oil, Oil filter, and fluids as well as a rotation of tires.
At 20,000 miles the truck will need to undergo a major service. This includes an oil change, a cabin air filter change, and a thorough inspection of the rod end and front suspension. The brake lining is also inspected and replaced if needed.
