2024 Hyundai Elantra Trims

The 2024 Hyundai Elantra is available in four main trim levels: SE, SEL, N Line, and Limited.

2024 Hyundai Elantra Interior

The 2024 Elantra has a stylish interior with a neatly designed center console that places the touchscreen close to the driver and a tidy cluster of easy-to-use controls in the center of the dashboard.

There are some hard plastics in the Elantra, especially in the rear passenger area, which detract from the overall ambiance of the interior.

The cabin is spacious and can seat up to five people. The front seats have plenty of legroom and headroom. The rear seats can accommodate three passengers, but the Elantra’s sloping roof eats into the headroom. Getting in and out of the car is not too difficult, thanks to the wide-opening doors.

Cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats are standard on the 2024 Elantra, while synthetic leather upholstery, real leather upholstery, heated front seats, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat are available.

Standard technology features on the 2024 Elantra include an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity, Bluetooth, two USB ports, HD Radio, a four-speaker stereo and remote keyless entry.

Available features include a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, satellite radio, six- and eight-speaker stereos, wireless device charging, a sunroof, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, remote start, and the Hyundai Digital Key app.

2024 Hyundai Elantra Exterior

The 2024 Elantra comes with a revised two-piece grille, new front and rear fascias, new front fenders, thinner LED daytime running lights with a metallic bar connecting them, and a new flat stainless steel Hyundai badge. LED projector headlights are standard in all grades.

The 2024 Elantra maintains an aggressive design at the rear. It features incandescent brake lights, incandescent reverse lights, and incandescent turn signals. The rear diffuser has been redesigned and now features a wide U-shaped silver element.

Wheels on the 2024 Elantra range from 15 to 18 inches depending on trim level.

2024 Hyundai Elantra Performance

The 2024 Elantra comes with a standard 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive.

The sportier N-Line model is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that produces 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque.

Hybrid models combine a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total output of 139 hp and 195 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid powertrain is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The base 2.0-litre engine is smooth and quiet in normal cruising but some drivers may feel it has weak acceleration, but the N-Line’s turbo four provides more punch, delivering quicker acceleration from a standstill and on the motorway.

The hybrid powertrain, on the other hand, has less power than the base engine, but the electric motor makes it feel more responsive around town.

Overall, the 2024 Elantra handles well on the tarmac and offers a comfortable ride, with the suspension absorbing most road imperfections and the brakes providing ample stopping power.

Regular servicing is essential to keep your Elantra running smoothly. Hyundai recommends that the Elantra is serviced every 7,500 miles or six months, whichever comes first.

At 15,000 miles or 12 months, Hyundai technicians should check the air-conditioning refrigerant, brake hoses and lines, drive shafts and boots, exhaust pipe and muffler, front and rear brake discs/pads, calipers, rear brake drums/linings (if fitted), steering gear, linkage and boots/lower and upper arm ball joints, suspension mounting bolts and replace the air-conditioning air filter, engine oil and filter and add fuel additive.

Every 30,000 miles or 24 months, your technician should check the fuel filter, inspect the fuel lines, hoses and connections, check the fuel tank air filter, check the parking brake, check the brake/clutch (if fitted), check the evaporator hose and fuel filler cap and replace the air filter.
