The GMC Acadia is one of the most popular full-size SUVs on the American market, with seating for 7-8, making it ideal for most families. 2024 GMC Acadia Trims

The 2024 Acadia is offered in four trim levels; the Elevation, Elevation Premium, AT4, and the Denali.

2024 GMC Acadia Interior

The 2024 Acadia features an all-new interior design with the latest technology and premium features. Acadia is larger and taller than its predecessor, and seating capacity has been increased from 6 or 7 passengers to 7 or 8. The front and second-row seats are comfortable with plenty of legroom, headroom, and shoulder room for passengers. The third-row seats are a little cramped and best suited for children and smaller adults.

The 2024 Acadia has an available one-touch folding rear seat that allows passengers to easily get in and out of the SUV and be comfortable no matter where they’re sitting. Acadia also offers an available panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade for an added sense of spaciousness.

All trims come with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar adjustment.

Other standard features include a 15-inch portrait touchscreen with customizable displays, Google built-in, an available high-contrast display, and an 11-inch digital instrument panel.

2024 GMC Acadia Exterior

The exterior design of the 2024 Acadia has been redesigned and is now more rugged with a larger body than the 2023 model. The 2024 Acadia is now only half a foot shorter than the full-size GMC Yukon, and the two GMC SUVs now share the same 120.9-inch wheelbase.

Each trim level of the 2024 Acadia offers distinctive exterior features. The Elevation comes standard with 20-inch wheels and an AutoSense power liftgate with occupant detection.

The AT4 trim gives off some serious off-road vibes with its signature red tow hooks and skid plates. This trim also gets a raised ride height, a high fascia with off-road-tuned suspension, and 18-inch dark machined aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires.  The AT4 also features a more athletic look with a unique AT4 grille and wheel-opening lamps.

The top of the light Denali trim offers a refined, luxurious exterior essence with its signature grille and trim accents, as well as its available 22-inch aluminum wheels. It is also outfitted with Galvano Silver accents, an animated approach, and departure lights.

All trims come standard with new LED headlights and a sleek black applique on the rear of the vehicle.

The 2024 Acadia offers three new exterior colors: Crystal Metallic, Deep Bronze Metallic, and Downpour Metallic.

Other color options include Summit White, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Sterling Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, Ultra Blue Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, and Light Stone Metallic.

2024 GMC Acadia Cargo Capacity

The 2024 Acadia’s increased size also contributed to more cargo space. This SUV has a maximum cargo volume of 97.5 cubic feet. This is enough to accommodate several suitcases boxes and groceries making it a perfect choice for families.

2024 GMC Acadia Safety Features

Forward collision alert, distance alert, pedestrian and cyclist alert front, IntelliBeam high beam assist, HD rearview camera, rear park assist, Safety Alert Seat, rear cross-traffic alert, blind zone assist, buckle to drive, rear seat reminder, intersection auto emergency braking, rear pedestrian detection, enhanced auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, speed limit assist, side pedestrian alert, enhanced lane departure warning, reverse auto braking and traffic sign recognition.

2024 GMC Acadia Fuel Consumption

The EPA is yet to release the fuel economy estimates of the 2024 Acadia but it is expected to have a slight improvement from its predecessor. The 2023 Acadia which uses a 2.0L engine is rated at 22 city, 29 highway, and a combined 25 mpg for front wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive V-6 model delivers an estimated 21 mpg combined, 19 city, and 26 highway.

The 2024 Acadia has a fuel tank capacity of 19.4 gallons for FWD models and 21.7 gallons for AWD models.

2024 GMC Acadia Performance

The 2024 Acadia is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged engine that delivers more power and more trailering capability than the previous generation. This engine delivers 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. Front wheel drive comes standard but the All-wheel drive is available across all trims.

The previous Acadia models used a chassis worked from the C1XX platform which is shared by the Cadillac XT5, Buick Envision, and Chevrolet Blazer, the 2024 model now shares much of its bones with the new Chevy Traverse.

The AT4 trim gets an off-road-capable Active Torque Control AWD system along with hill descent control and selectable driving modes, including a Terrain mode. The 2024 Acadia can produce up to 5,000 lbs of towing capacity.

2024 GMC Acadia Reliability

The GMC is regarded by many owners to have average reliability. According to RepairPal.com, the 2024 Acadia has a reliability rating of 3.0 out of 5.0 which ranks it 23rd out of 26 midsize SUVs.

The 2024 Acadia comes with a comprehensive warranty and maintenance coverage package as standard. Limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles, powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles while the complimentary maintenance is covered for the first visit.

2024 GMC Acadia Maintenance Schedule

GMC recommends the Acadia undergo routine servicing every 7500 miles to ensure it runs efficiently.

At the first interval technicians should change the oil and the oil filter, rotate the tires, lubricate doors, and inspect brakes, hoses, and belts.

In the second service, technicians should repeat the 7500-mile services in addition to replacing the cabin filter and the brake bardes.
