The 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 offroad capability depends on the trim level you choose. The Silverado 1500 trim lineup has three options that are specially equipped for the trails, these are; WT which has basic capabilities for mild off-road trails, the Trail Boss grade which offers Increased ground clearance, locking differentials, and all-terrain tires for moderate off-roading and the ZR2 trim.

The ZR2 trim offers a Z71 Off-Road Package for adventure-seekers and off-road enthusiasts. This package equips the truck with features like advanced off-road suspension, Autotrac® 2-Speed Transfer Case, skid plates, underbody protection, Hill Descent Control and all-terrain tires to handle rough and challenging terrains with ease.
