2024 GMC Acadia Performance

The 2024 Acadia is powered by a 2.5L turbocharged engine that delivers more power and more trailering capability than the previous generation. This engine delivers 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard but the All-wheel drive is available across all trims.

The previous Acadia models used a chassis worked from the C1XX platform which is shared by the Cadillac XT5, Buick Envision, and Chevrolet Blazer, the 2024 model now shares much of its bones with the new Chevy Traverse.

The AT4 trim gets an off-road-capable Active Torque Control AWD system along with hill descent control and selectable driving modes, including a Terrain mode. The 2024 Acadia can produce up to 5,000 lbs of towing capacity.
